Process:

  1. Firststepistosendusyourdetailsorregisteronthewebsitedirectlypaying a very nominal one-time charges to develop your personal web page. This will have to be approved by our quality control team
  2. Confirm your availability in the calendar provided on your dedicated web page once you are given your login access. Front office can help you too.
  3. Youcanchoosetobeavailableatyourconveniencesothatpatientsfromany country can book their appointments as per your availability.
  4. Once the appointments are confirmed following booking and completing online payments by the patient you and the concerned patient will receive an email confirming the details.
  5. Appointments can be cancelled or postponed online 72 hours prior to the scheduled timings only. If it is less than 72 hours front office will assist.
  6. In case of any urgent problems or need help with appointments clinicians, patients and therapists can contact the front desk office for further help.
  7. Front desk office will contact various clinicians if any patient wants urgent appointments to find their availability and will assist with whole process.
  8. Pre consultation questioners, x-rays, scans, tests results will be uploaded on to the web prior to consultation. We strongly advice clinicians and therapists to go through the available information prior to starting the consultation. This will save your time and make your consultation more efficient. Patients develop more confidence which is needless to mention.
  9. In case of any unforeseen circumstances should you need to cancel your session or postpone it, you must contact the front desk office to assist you. They will then contact the patients and make alternative arrangements as per your guidance or give another option to patients. • No data can be stored or copied and no attempts should be made to take pictures of the data. Please read the terms and conditions.

Litigations (Medico legal advice):

Many clinicians have raised this query which is understandable. In simple words this is like you attending and treating a foreigner visiting your country / region. They are consenting by registering and paying the fees. Liability is minimal because you are not fully treating the patients but giving your opinion only during your consultation. You are not eligible to prescribe medications in any other country unless you have a valid registration in that country / region medical council / regulator. Litigation would be extremely rare however, for your own clarity and comfort please speak to your indemnity advisor and also go through our disclaimer as well as terms and conditions and do not hesitate to contact our team members should you have any further queries. You can write your own disclaimer on your web page, we will display that. You are only giving an opinion and lack of direct physical examination is well understood and we all, including patients are aware of certain limitations. As clearly mentioned in our terms and conditions every clinician and therapist is expected to have your own indemnity (your practice insurance in your country / region) Do ask your insurer if they cover you for this activity. *Never prescribe any narcotics or controlled drugs following online consultations even if its your own region and or you have local registration with the medical council. Honesty and Good medical practice are always the best protection. We strongly recommend you to keep a brief record of your advice to the patients with reasoning and maintain your own practice diary. Please do consult your insurer and do not hesitate to contact our team members any time should it be necessary. We are here to guide you and support you and expect the same from you all.

Registration with the Medical council / Regulators:

You must be registered with your regional medical council / regulator and have practice indemnity in that region where you are physically present to give consultations and maintain your knowledge and skills up to date. You do not need to be registered with the council / regulator where the patient is calling or contacting you from. Patients expect experts unbiased advice and we are here to deliver that. Your opinions are highly valued and respected, please be open and honest when you advise. We all must know our own limitations and guide the patients to consult appropriate clinicians / specialists whenever necessary. Never hesitate to turn down a request for further appointments if you are not the right specialist to consult or advice even if patients express their compete faith in you. Payments and reimbursements:

Patients make payments when they book their appointments. Your payments can be transferred to your chosen registered bank or building society in the currency as per your choice. You can choose the time intervals for transferring the currency to your respective banks. We advise you to set this up for 1 / 3 months to minimize the charges you will incur for currency conversion and transfer fee where applicable by the banks or building societies. Future educational events & CPD: We will facilitate and encourage our registered clinicians and therapists with visits for work experience, courses and meetings across the globe to further develop their knowledge and skills from each other. In future we will provide facilities for webinars, courses, conferences and hands on workshops for CPD with special rates to our registered members. We will facilitate and support any training fellowships to our registered members where appropriate at the discretion of the education and training board advisors.
